1. River of five colors
This wonderful river of five colors is called Cano Crisrales. Located in Colombia. This river is also known as River of Five Colors or Liquid Rainbow. Every year from July to November, the water of this river turns very colorful with yellow, green, blue, black and red colors. Like a wonderful painting. It is said that the reason why the water of the river takes different colors is because of a type of plant that grows at the bottom of the river.
2. Salt flats
Salar De Uyuni or this salt flat is located in southwestern Bolivia. This amazing place is the largest salt flat in the world. More than 10,000 square kilometers to be precise. This amazing salt land is located at 3656 meters above the sea level near the Andes mountain. The surprise is that this plain is extremely flat and a few meters thick layer of salt is located on this surface. Due to the stagnant layer of water resting on this salt layer after a heavy rain, this place becomes the world’s biggest mirror. It is believed that this salt layer has been created as a result of changes in the rivers over a period of time.
3. Waka forest
This strange forest is located in Western Pomerania, Poland. Although this is called a forest, it is an ordinary fine forest that is not that big. But the surprise is that all the more than 400 fine trees in this strange forest have been created in a strange shape. That is why this small forest is known as one of the unusual forests in Central Europe. Due to some environmental reason, all the trees in this forest turn 90 degrees horizontally near the base and then take a beautiful curved shape and move upwards, but no one knows the reason why this happens.
4. Acid lakes
This place is a little scary place which is known by scary names like “gateway to hell” and “land of death”. Salt plains, hot springs and acid lakes can also be seen in this place. This place which has attracted tourists, salt miners and scientists is located in Ethiopia. This place is listed as one of the hottest places in the world and one of the lowest places from sea level.
5. Natural steps
The mountains known as Punakaiki or pancake mountains are located on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Pancake Rocks are called Pancake Rocks because of the shape of these mountains like steps or pancakes placed one on top of the other. It is said that this appearance is due to the eroded limestone. Due to this wonderful appearance, this area has managed to attract a large number of tourists.
6. Giant eggs on the beach
Moeraki Boulders or these amazing Moeraki stones are located on the coast of New Zealand. The specialty of these stones is that they are bigger than the normal stones on the beach and have a round shape like an egg. These ball-shaped stones are large stones up to two meters in height. These Moraki rocks, which are considered to be rocks left over from coastal erosion, are another place that has won the tourist attraction from the top.
7. Kissing rivers
This event is a natural phenomenon that can be seen in Geneva, Switzerland. Rhone is a major river in Europe. The Arve is a tributary of the Rhône. Although these two rivers move in two different directions in two different colors, they meet at Geneva. The surprise is that where these two rivers of different colors meet, the colors separate and you can see the difference very beautifully. Due to differences in water density, these two rivers never meet completely.
