When we say the name Africa, a dark picture is created in our minds. A desert environment full of people suffering from famine and ethnic crises is created in our minds. But we forget that Africa is the second largest continent after Asia. Because of this, there are dark conditions in some areas, but other parts of Africa are superb. Today we are going to share with you seven beautiful places in Africa. These are considered the Seven Wonders of the World in Africa. Here are the 7 wonders of Africa, 

1. Nile River

The Nile River is a river that has contributed to change not only the history of Africa but also the history of the whole world. The Egyptian civilization that arose along this river is one of the greatest civilizations in the world’s human history. Man is still exploring this civilization today. Currently, this river flows through 11 countries and meets the entire water needs of Egypt and Sudan.

2. Kilimanjaro Mountain

This wonderful mountain is located in Tanzania, this mountain is considered to be the highest mountain in Africa. Evidence is found that this is an inactive volcano that gave birth to many rivers of lava in the past. Many tourists who like to climb mountains consider climbing this mountain as their dream. This snow-capped mountain has become a symbol not only of Tanzania but also of Africa as a whole.

3. Sahara Desert

The world’s largest arid desert, the Sahara, covers an area the size of the United States of America. However, as many people think, the Sahara Desert is not a completely lifeless area. Animals and plants adapted to the desert environment live in this area. Also, their unique civilization is being built around the oases located in the middle of the desert.

The Great Mammal Migration from northern Tanzania to southeastern Kenya is considered a unique event in the entire world’s biodiversity system. In this way, an animal community of millions moves to a new area in search of prey. It is estimated that more than 250,000 animals will die during this great migration period.

This crater, which remains a remnant of a volcanic eruption between two and three million years ago, is also the largest volcanic crater in the world. A unique biodiversity system has been created around these areas which are currently covered by forest cover. Tens of thousands of tourists come annually to visit this area located in Tanzania.

6. Okavango Delta

This place is in the Kalahari Desert, this delta is a unique geographical location in the world. Although the Okavango River flows into the sea through this, its water never flows into the sea. Instead, it is subjected to evaporation due to the tremendous heat in the area. However, being nourished by river water has led to the formation of a unique bio-system in those areas.

7. Coral Reefs of the Red Sea

This wonderful place is located midway between Africa and Asia, the coral reefs of the Red Sea cover an area of about 170,000 square kilometers. Among the animal population living here, about 1200 species of animals have been identified as unique to this area. Also, it is estimated that 44 species of sharks that live in the Indian Ocean come to this area every year.
