- Paint with spray or plain paint;

How to make a vase from a glass bottle
Methods of decorating glass bottles from wine, beer and other drinks are no less diverse. Despite the fact that their shape is much more difficult to change (the maximum is to cut off the neck), handmade vases from glass bottles are much more elegant and interesting. Vases made of tall and narrow glass bottles are often used in “sets”, placing 1-3 flowers in each of them.
At the same time, homemade vases made of cognac and other low bottles can be decorated with beads, shells and act as an independent decorative element.
Unlike plastic containers, a vase from a glass bottle is usually painted from the inside. The paint is simply poured into bottles, where it spreads freely along the walls. Thanks to this, the vases not only get a new color, but also retain the glossy shine of the glass.
The exception is the spray painting process. It allows you to evenly apply paint to the surface of the glass, without the formation of strokes. Use this option if you want to make matte vases from glass bottles with your own hands or give them an ombre effect.
With the use of stencils or hand-painted skills, you can give a vase from a bottle a beautiful pattern.
In addition to painting, you can also:
- Wrap a glass bottle with thick thread or twine;
- Decorate it with ribbons, lace or fabric;
- Apply decoupage.
In the following photos you will see examples of such work.
